Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Purani Dilli, we believe in the beauty of our creations and want you to love every piece you choose from us. But if something doesn’t fit right or meet expectations, here’s how you can return, cancel or exchange your order.

Customers are sincerely requested to go through our refund policy before placing an order with us.


1. Return and Exchange Window

a) Wrong Size Delivered / Wrong Product
  1. In case of issues relating to size (size other than that ordered) or delivery of wrong product (incomplete set or incorrect style): Within 7 days after the date of delivery.

b) Damaged / Defective Product
  1. In case of issues relating to quality of product (delivery of damaged/defective product): Within 48 hours of delivery. We will not be able to help you if this timeline is exceeded.

Options Available

The customer can choose either of the below listed options:

  • Get a replacement of the same product (subject to availability) or select a different product of same price.

  • Get a refund (via store credit) by returning the product.

2. Size Exchange

In case the product fails to meet your fit expectations, we do not offer any return or exchange.
Customers are directed to read the size chart carefully prior to placing the order.

3. Returns and Exchange Cost

Returns and exchanges are free of cost for:

  • Wrong size delivered (size other than ordered)

  • Delivery of wrong products (incomplete sets or incorrect style)

  • Delivery of damaged/defective product

4. Eligibility for Return/Exchange

  1. Products must be unused, unwashed, and unaltered, with all original tags and packaging intact.

  2. Sale/discounted items, limited-edition pieces, and accessories (if introduced later) are not eligible.

  3. Product images and tag images will be required for return/exchange cases.

Please note that your return/exchange request will be processed after quality check.
Purani Dilli holds the authority to make the final decision.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds will only be made as Store Credit / E-voucher.

  • Store credit/E-voucher will be shared once the order is picked up and passes quality check.

  • It will be shared within 7 working days from the date of quality check via email.

  • Validity: 1 year from issue date.

  • Amount will be equal to sales price (exclusive of taxes) of returned products.

  • Each order is eligible for return/exchange only once.

  • Orders placed using store credit are not eligible for return/exchange.

6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Refunds are not available for size-change requests done out of preference or change of mind.

  • Items that are worn, washed, altered, or missing tags/packaging will not qualify.

  • Minor misprints and colour differences are not considered damage, as handcrafted products naturally vary.

7. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Email us at support@puranidilli.in or visit www.puranidilli.in within the timelines mentioned.

  2. Mention your order number, reason for return, and attach clear product & tag images.

  3. Once approved, a return pickup will be initiated.

  4. Ensure all tags and labels are intact and the product is unused, unaltered, and unwashed.

  5. Return/exchange requests for orders placed using store credit will be rejected.

8. Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing them by writing to support@puranidilli.in.
Any cancellation request after this period will not be accepted.

General Notes

  • Size availability for replacement depends on current inventory.

  • We strongly recommend checking the size chart before placing an order.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any return or exchange not complying with this policy.
